About

I'm a full-stack developer transitioning into data analysis, with experience in AI automation. My background includes building and deploying web platforms with Node.js, Express, and MongoDB, plus payment and API integrations. I’m now applying that technical foundation to SQL, Power BI, Python, and Excel, focusing on freelance dissertation analysis and small business reporting.

Projects

HR Analytics: Horizon Consulting Group

Tools: MySQL, SQL

The scenario: Horizon Consulting Group is a mid-size consulting firm. The HR Director no longer trusts spreadsheets—turnover is unclear, salary bands look inconsistent across departments, and no one can tell which employees are stretched across too many projects. I treated this as a real analyst engagement and answered these questions using SQL.

What I did:

Key finding: [fill this in once you run your queries—for example, "Engineering has the widest salary range of any department" or "2 employees are staffed on more than one project at once"]

SQL Practice: Bright Academy

Tools: MySQL, SQL

A second SQL practice project designed to reinforce core skills using a fresh dataset. Bright Academy is a fictional training center offering short courses, modeled with instructors, students, and enrollments—including realistic gaps such as missing contact details and students enrolled in multiple courses at once.
